I love hearing from readers and other authors. The life of a writer can  be a lonely one. Sometimes I feel like the only person left alive on an isolated island. Is anyone reading my blog? Does anyone ever check out the site?

And I'm insatiably curious, so I constantly wonder about my readers.Where does a reader live? What makes  reader pick a book by a new author?

Self-doubt seeps in constantly, especially right after I've submitted a manuscript. Oh, the agony of that wait period (Can you tell I'm in one right now?).
