Wow the publishing world is in chaos.
Barnes and Noble have put themselves up for sale.
Dorchester Publishing has announced they’re going digital.
I know so many authors who only have print rights to their work and I feel for them. I came into writing and publishing via eBooks so all of my rights are intact. Other authors aren’t certain of what will happen to their rights and that’s just a crying shame.
When you write for a living, all you have are the stories you create. Mind you, I think copyright is going the way of the dinosaurs, but that battle is still up in the air.
Interesting times, we live in eh?
