Isn’t it funny how we take good health for granted?
I’ve managed to reach middle age without any major health incidents and thought I'd escape the trials and tribullations and aches most people seem to acquire.
However, the last year and a half have been trying health wise. And old bodies don’t heal as quickly and as thoroughly as young ones.
Two weeks ago, I pinched nerve in my neck. Yesterday for the first time since that incident, I can actually feel my pinkie and ring finger on my right hand. And the pain has finally decreased to the point where I no longer need pain medication. However, the doctors say that it will take at least six months to heal completely.
As my DH is fond of saying life’s a bitch and then you grow old. One good thing has come out of this; I’m finally learning how to use my voice to control the PC. So the next up is to write a manuscript using only my voice.
I’ll keep you posted on my progress. One lesson so far is that if you get angry the PC understands nothing. It’s definitely male, my PC.
Cheers,
Jianne
