A pinched cervical nerve is no joke as I’ve recently discovered.
One full week after my overindulgence on the rowing machine at the gym, two fingers on my right arm are still numb, and the waves of sharp pain shooting through my shoulder, forearm, and back haven’t diminished in the slightest. Not a fun week.
I’m hoping I will wake up tomorrow and find that it doesn’t hurt to type.
On the plus side, I’m learning to use voice recognition to type my documents. It’s a tad on the frustrating side when the computer doesn’t understand what I say, but I’m getting to the point where I can dictate the final chapters of Lucifer’s Choice, Sax’s tale, without making too many mistakes.
This week I fly to Trinidad for a wedding. I’m so looking forward to visiting old friends and having a shark and bake at Maracas Beach (see picture above).
